Championships

I personally look through the shows in the past, and I think I have to critique how the championship belts are being booked, way to often I must say, they take meaning away from the title to be quite honest and prestige. Titles in my opinion should only be defended at big shows/ppvs, or if it's a feud for a belt possibly to finish it off. Something like that, the reason WWE & main stream promotions don't defend the belt every month is because when they build up to one big title match, it makes it seem more important. Sure have your mid carder title and upper mid carder belts defended more often than the main strap, but still only do it say once every two weeks at the most, though that can be pushing it at times and of course on PPV's, defend it unless there good reasoning not to.
That's just my opinion, titles can seem meaningless otherwise.

Forgive me if I'm wrong... but the only title shots.... apart from the Big Bobby/John Coners feud which is intentional... that keeps getting put up for grabs lately..

You'll find the title doesn't flip flop all the much... a lot of times title matches are set up to add to the legacy of the champion...


After all.. you like to see a champion win.. build up their stats.... then at a pay per view give them a REAL big challenge....
