who needs a hotel...

After a long night in his office Jason Brent makes his into the parking lot to go home and see's two cars in the lot.
one being his, he looks at a black 1970 hemi cuda, little beat up but still in good shape. Jason interested at who's car it could be
walks over to check it out. and see's who else than Cody sleeping in the backseat in a kinda arkward postion. huddled under
two blankets and buried in his pillow.

Jason simply mutters to himself "He must really want to be here" and heads on over to his car.

Jason looked at the kid in the car again.. shaking his head.. He couldn't leave a kid to sleep in a car in the middle of January....

"Hey... you.." His fingers knocked on the window pane...

"Albrak.... "

"Whaa?" Albrak slowly waking up, rubbing his eyes and picks his head to look out the window
and see's Jason.
Cody unrolls the window a crack. "whats up man?"

"You can't stay here kid... are you crazy?.." he threw his satchel into his truck then came back..

"Supposed to hit 30 below .... that car isn't going to keep you warm.." he looked around..

"You have anywhere to go tonight?"

Cody looks around and saracastically replies "Well if i had somewhere else to go, I'm Pretty sure i'd be there. but hey im fine here. really.
dont worry about me boss "

"I don't invest in corpses kid... " He reached into his pocket...

"Head over to Holiday Inn on Carling for the night... we'll figure out something more permanent tomorrow... " he stopped at the door to his truck..

"I mean it.... You won't do anyone any good if you get pneumonia... or if your muscles are too sore to push forward...."

"yeah okay.. i'll think about." Albrak climbs forward into the drivers seat, still trying to wake up as he turns the car on and lets it warm up

Jason nodded..

"Good.." he slid into his truck, rolling his window down..

"You've got the heart to go far kid... don't be ashamed to take a little help when times get tough though..."
