Taking a break

After a grueling match with Ghoul, Pike needed to get away for a little while. After Dog's strange behavior in the parking lot Pike decides that just to be safe he would go to his ranch back home where no one knew where it was and where he felt comfortable.

He stops by the hotel that Jason had so kindly put him up in at the beginning of the season and checked out. The manager asked him if he would be coming back and Pike replied, "oh probably not, I'm feelin a little constrained in the confines of this hotel, so i'll probably just get a place of my own."

After the stop at the hotel, Pike puts Horse in his trailer and heads out to his ranch. On the way out he stops by a store and buys some ammunition for his hunting rifle and several other items.

After having picked up the ammo from the store, Pike drove out to his ranch using back roads, much to Horses discomfort. In the cab Pike was talking to Dog, "so fella what I'm really curious about is why you were acting so strange in the parking lot back at the gym." Dog looks over at Pike and cocks his head. Pike glances over at him and chuckles. "well maybe it's just me being slightly paranoid. But after that kid wearing the ghoul shirt and those weird banging sounds in the gym who knows."

Finally Pike arrives at his ranch and after letting Dog out he puts Horse up in his stall and goes into the house where after unpacking he goes back outside saddles up Horse and goes for a long ride....

After spending a long time out in the backwoods at his ranch Pike decides that it is time to return to the city and to HKW seeing as he needed to find himself a more suitable place to stay as well as start some training for the upcoming season.
